The international scientific Conference ‘Our Common Future under Climate Change’ is the largest forum for the scientific community to come together ahead of COP21. Jointly organized by major French research institutions, ICSU, Future Earth, and UNESCO, the Conference will be held in Paris from 7 to 10 July 2015, at UNESCO headquarters and at Université Pierre et Maire Curie (Jussieu Campus).

Organized around daily themes, the Conference will focus on moving from present knowledge to future solutions. Taking stock of the fifth IPCC Assessment Report, it aims to provide new scientific knowledge on climate change and strengthen transversal work on climate change and integrative work with other global challenges, such as climate and biodiversity, desertification, food security, poverty, scarcity or degradation of resources (including land and water), human health, and sustainable cities.
